Fished Lynnhaven yesterday did pretty good. I caught about 15 speckled trout in a rip line of current using a Type III sinking line with a chartruese/white clouser on my 6wt. Then I fished some deeper holes around a flat and picked up a couple more trout. Very interesting thing happened after dak, I went to one of my favorite dock lights and I had a nice drift going about 40ft out in front of it. It was just far enough out that I was out of the light, as I am coming past the dock, I see three dark shapes on the surface. As I got closer I realized they were speckled trout sitting on top, I casted my white light line fly to them and caught a nice 19" spec, gotta love sight fishing.
