AS POSTED BY MY FRIEND DAVE SIKORSKI
Sunday night Drew asked if I had checked the weather for the week. That can only mean one thing.
He checked the weather and something is gonna happen.
Between meetings and a bunch of phone calls we headed south on Tuesday with the Goliath in tow. Met up with George who came armed with flies and the know how, and off we went into the pre dusk Bay.
A few attempts before the night fell proved futile. The lights came on and our search began.
With a decent wind and a building current flow we finally saw a few willing opponents and began the rotation. W/ George @ the helm I hooked into the first fish of the night and the catching commenced.
Before things slowed down we had landed 10 fish and I lost one and the boat, and missed at least 3 more strikes.
George proved his experience with the quickest hook up of the night and a fish that probably tied for the biggest at about 36-38".
All 10 wt. work.
YADA YADA YADA....I'm home, I'm tired, and I can't get the smile off my face.
Will let the pics tell the rest of the story.
THANKS GEORGE! Drew and I had a blast.
