Fished the carp ponds today, found alot of fish working the banks and the middle. Caught one fish on a olive sofa pillow. nice fish about 10 lbs. Had several other takes but just couldn't connect. Saw a gar and a bowfin both well over 10 lbs. Looks like I will carry a seperate rod with something rigged up for these species. I will post pics of the carp later.
